Juniperus Chin. "Stricta"

Juniperus chinensis 'Stricta' is a compact, columnar evergreen conifer prized for its elegant, upright habit and striking blue-green foliage. Growing to around 2–3 meters tall with a narrow spread of 0.5–1 meter, it forms a tidy, symmetrical shape that adds height and architectural interest to gardens.

The foliage is densely packed, needle-like, and slightly prickly, forming soft, vertical sprays. Its naturally neat, narrow growth makes 'Stricta' an excellent choice for small spaces, formal plantings, container displays, rock gardens, or as a vertical accent in mixed borders.

Highly adaptable, it tolerates a wide range of soil types as long as they are well-drained. It prefers full sun, is drought-tolerant once established, and requires little to no pruning to maintain its form.

Juniperus 'Stricta' is also resistant to pests and diseases, making it a durable, low-maintenance option for gardeners seeking year-round color and structure with minimal care.
